Stampin' Up! News
Every year Stampin' Up! comes out with a new Annual Catalog in May 2026. Okay, that's not new. However, this year they will be launching three catalogs the same size as the Annual Catalog.
January – April
May – August
September – December
Why? My answer is it just makes sense, that's my answer not Stampin' Up!. I enjoy flipping through colorful magazines and sharing it with friends. Not to say that I don't share my screen with friends but it's a lot more enjoyable for me to just loan a catalog than my phone. Let's face it with monthly updates, it's hard to keep track of all the new products. New products will still be added to the website but this just makes it more convenient.
I am not sure if you heard about the rumor about Stampin'Up! coming out with new ink pads. As a former, Close to My Heart consultant, I really did enjoy their ink pads the best. I enjoy the ease in opening the ink pads and the magnetic frame allowed for easy stackable storage on my desk. Stampin'Up! did say at the time of the merger that they would consider it but that it wouldn't be an immediate change.
My sneak peak thoughts...
Stampin'Up! will be launching a new Basic Black Hybrid Stampin' Pad with magnetic closure and the best part is that you can use this black ink for stamping, water coloring and alcohol marker blending in their new catalog. With Momento Ink you can use alcohol markers but would occasionally bleed when using it for water coloring. They are not air tight which means frequent reinking of the ink pad. Meanwhile the new hybrid ink pad is air tight which means it stays juicer longer.
As of 3/23/2026, the Stampin'Up! company informed it's Demonstrators that it has decided to discontinue StazOn and Momento products because of trouble sourcing these items so grab them under the Last Chance menu. I anticipate these will sell out quickly so grab your ink pads and reinkers if you need to stamp on acetate/clear sheets or vellum. Also another reason to grab them is that due to shipping delays the new Hybrid ink pads will not be available at the time the new catalog launches but like you I am looking forward to it.
I also took a sneak peak at the new line of In-Colors and you guessed it, new ink pads with felt magnetic closures. Do you remember why CTMH had theirs on top? I certainly do, it was so that our ink pads stayed juicy. I do not find this to be a problem for me with Stampin'Up! ink pads. In fact, I find them too juicy and get inky fingers. But less face it no matter the ink pad style I always get my fingers inky. The best news is that you can keep your current ink pad storage it will fit the new ink pads. Yes!!
